El Capdesmoro Al Quinto Pino Art Club se ha inclinado este año a organizar un evento muy especial y atrevido: Ha invitado a 7 artistas a trabajar tres semanas juntos en los edificios del Capdesmoro Al Quinto Pino Art Club en una sesión de creación con un final completamente abierto y resultados imprevisibles…con los artistas Catalina Obrador, Josefina Pino, Pere Bennássar, Arti Leimbacher, Peter Marquant, Ramón de la O, Iván Pérez.

La inauguración es el día 5 de diciembre a las 18h, el proyecto dura hasta el 23 de diciembre 2009.

Pocos días quedan para poder visitar la exposición ‘Memòries de un turista’ de Arti Leimbacher . La muestra en la ‘Església Vella’ de Ses Salines que ha despertado tanto interés y sigue teniendo una gran afluencia de público se

clausurará el domingo, día 11 de octubre con un festivo ‘chill-out’.

Durante la última semana demás estará abierta también por las mañanas.

Majestic Scene

El grupo holandés ‘Majestic Scene’ eligió para el cover de sú nuevo album ‘Swinging in a perfect poise’ la obra ‘El gran pescador’ pintado por Leimbacher en el año 2004. El CD se presentará al público el día 12 de septiembre en la ciudad de Tilburg, Holanda.

“Desapareció el pez mientras nació su recuerdo entre un infinito azul y las pepitas escupidas de una sandía de agosto,” dice el autor sobre la exposición. Leimbacher mostrará a través de pinturas, figuras, objetos e intermedios una exposición diversa, un ‘variado’ de recuerdos y miradas que abarcará temas y vistas de carices diferentes, convergentes entre si, desde la gastronomía hasta los demonios, pasando por mar y tierra y por el surrealismo del día a día.

The Andreas Züst Collection

The photographer, artist, scientist and art collector Andreas Züst ( 1947 - 2000) recorded everything what he was interested in and what he believed that defined his life. Since the late seventies he documented as a photographer and art collector the Zurich cultural life and its extensive connections. The art collection is legendary. It consists of more then 1500 works of over 200 artists and will be shown in a representative exhibition ( Memorizer - Der Sammler Andreas Züst) in the Aargauer Kunsthaus, Switzerland, from 29th of may until 9th of august 2009.

Two of the personalities Leimbacher painted this winter were austrian painter Peter Marquant, designer of the Capdesmoro buildings in Santanyi, Mallorca, and initiator, director and co-founder of the ‘Al Quinto Pino Art Club’, and sculpture Carolina Blanco with her dog Amanda.

A new edition of the catalogue ‘GENTE - mas o menos imaginada’ with portraits by Leimbacher will be available again end of november 2009.
